We are passionate about not only being disciples, but making disciples as well.
In Luke 14, Jesus stops a multitude and asks them to really assess their commitment to Him. He doesn’t mince words when he does this either. In verse 26 he states “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple”. Jesus called for and required complete devotion to Him — and that is our goal as disciple at Faith Baptist!
